Gallery – Citizens in Defense of Waller County

Welcome to our gallery, where images speak louder than press releases. What you see here captures the heart of a rural community blindsided by a massive theme park proposal—planned behind closed doors, without local input, and nearly fast-tracked through House Bill 5685. The lack of transparency surrounding the project’s location, financing, and long-term impact has stirred deep concern across Waller County.

These photos document our response: the rallies, the signage, the unity, and the unwavering commitment to protecting our land and our voice. Each image is a reminder that this community refuses to be left in the dark.

Waller County Residents Outraged by Secretive Theme Park Bill; Deep Concern Over Inappropriate Rural Location

In the wake of HB 5685, locals are expressing concern not just over the lack of transparency, but over the proposed site itself—an ill-equipped rural intersection with narrow roads, no shoulders, and vulnerable drainage. Many fear the development would irreparably harm the quiet character, safety, and environmental stability of the area.
